Contact and inquiries
For questions about your information, email santiago@astronomyc.com. When you submit the contact form, your name, email, company, interest and message are processed on Vercel and sent to Astronomyc through Resend so we can reply. The site does not store these fields in its own database or local storage.
Resend and email providers may retain communications and delivery metadata under their policies. We retain inquiries to reply and follow up; you can ask us to update or delete your information. WhatsApp and email process communications under their own terms. Avoid sharing confidential third-party information in an initial inquiry.
Inquiry origins
To understand how inquiries reach us, this tab temporarily stores a source category such as ChatGPT or Perplexity when a browser referrer or the link’s utm_source identifies a recognized source. It may also store a medium category, a recognized referrer domain, the entry page type and its language. We do not copy full URLs, search terms, campaign names, form fields or visitor identifiers into this record.
This first-party record uses sessionStorage without cookies. Attribution expires 30 minutes after the first entry and may be replaced on the next page load. It stays available while navigating between English and Spanish pages in the same tab. If the source has expired before the first attempt to submit the form, it is not included. Retries retain the same source information to avoid duplicate inquiries. If you submit the contact form, these categories are included in the inquiry email. The signal may be missing or inaccurate: it does not identify a person or prove which agent recommended the site. With visit measurement enabled, source and evidence categories may also be sent to Vercel Web Analytics as entry and confirmed inquiry events. It does not measure bookings, WhatsApp messages or emails sent outside the form.
Meeting scheduling
Booking links open Cal.com in a new tab. If you choose a time, Cal.com processes the information needed to manage the meeting under its privacy policy at https://cal.com/privacy. Astronomyc receives booking details to coordinate the call. Cal.com content does not load until you open the link.
Hosting and browsing
Vercel hosts the website and may process technical request data such as IP address, date, browser and requested path to operate and protect the service. See https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. This version does not include advertising pixels. We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate pageview and source statistics. Our code removes URL queries and fragments, limits paths to public pages and skips pages with potentially sensitive referrers. Our custom events include only source and evidence, with no contact form fields. Vercel uses a request-derived hash to distinguish visitors without third-party cookies and says this session identification is discarded after 24 hours. Aggregate statistics have a separate retention period. Our code adds no visitor identifiers. Ad blockers, missing referrers and privacy filters can leave visits unmeasured. Newsletter
Where newsletter subscription is enabled on the site, Beehiiv manages subscriptions and email delivery. Your email and consent are processed through the form, and you need to confirm your email to receive content. Emails include an unsubscribe link. Beehiiv may record delivery, opens and clicks according to its configuration. See https://www.beehiiv.com/privacy. The website does not store newsletter addresses in its own database or local storage.
Requests and project information
You can ask what information you have shared with Astronomyc or request an update or deletion by email. We handle requests according to the information available and applicable obligations. Third-party services have their own procedures.
