Map the whole route
Write down the trigger, sources, steps, decisions, destination and exceptions. Check which tools provide supported connections or actions. A good candidate is frequent enough to matter and bounded enough to test.
Test execution and exceptions
Use normal cases as well as missing files, contradictory data and unavailable systems. Agree on which actions can run and which need review. Confirm that the final record or file is correct in the authoritative system.
Keep ownership visible
Define how the workflow runs, what it logs and who handles failures. Schedule recurring work only after it is tested and authorized. Review the results and update the procedure as the business changes.
