From asking questions to delegating work
A request becomes more useful when it says what must be finished, where the information lives and what actions are authorized.

Source guide updated 2026-10-01. Features depend on your plan, permissions and environment.
Define the finished result
Instead of asking for general advice about a meeting, ask for a brief based on specific records, an updated document or a prepared follow-up. State the format and where it should go.
Provide context and operating rules
Name the authoritative files and systems. Explain what must be preserved, what can change and when a person must review a decision. Confirm that the available connections support the required actions.
Verify execution
Check the resulting file or authoritative system. A proposed update is different from a saved record, and a draft is different from a sent email. Improve the procedure when inputs are missing or exceptions appear, then reuse it for similar work.
